Spring is here and so is BAU!
We hope you all had a wonderful Easter break and made the most of the wonderful weather. After the five named storms we have all endured since November some spring sunshine and calm weather is very welcome. We are delighted to have made excellent progress on getting through the surge and will be back to Business As Usual by the end of this week.
This month we bring news on the quarterly supplier awards and our fundraising efforts.
MA Assist Supplier of the Quarter March 2022
MA Assist‘s Supplier of Q1 2022 is Northdown Property Services.
Throughout this quarter they have taken on an increased volume of work and helped out in undertaking surveys and reports for Virtus surge claims, often working out of area. They are really pleasant to deal with and proactive in the management of claims. Despite these extra challenges they have maintained World Class NPS score of 80+ based upon a return rate of 85%.
Well done to Alistair and the team.
Virtus Surveyor of the Quarter March 2022
The Virtus Surveyor of Q1 2022 is Dan Stanton.
Dan has taken an incredible 258 storm claims this quarter to assist in the Storm Eunice surge, more than any other surveyor on our network. His NPS score has been 99 on a return rate of 95% – a truly outstanding performance!
Fantastic service from Dan, well done.
Revival Branch of the Quarter March 2022
The Revival Branch of Q1 2022 is Halifax.
Andrew and the team have again been outstanding this quarter maintaining 5 Star performance throughout. They have had zero complaints or EOD’s raised against them and have kept Pulse updated with key dates on all jobs. Their NPS was 100 on a return rate of 80% – a phenomenal performance!
Well done to Andrew and the rest of the team.
European Transplant and Dialysis Games fundraising
MA Group is sponsoring the European Transplant and Dialysis Games which are being held in Oxford in August 2022 and so we were delighted to join in with more fundraising at a fantastic evening of comedy and music on 7th April. Jo Brand and Alan Davies were incredibly funny hosts and it was wonderful of them to give up their time for free to support this amazing cause.
Singer-songwriter Adam Isaac also performed on the night It was very moving to hear Adam Isaac’s story – a finalist in BBC’s The Voice, he was diagnosed with kidney failure 12 months ago and is now on dialysis waiting for a new kidney. What an incredible singer-songwriter he is and we wish him all the best while he waits to find a donor.
We are delighted that the evening raised £20,000 for the European Games, a fantastic achievement.
If you would like more information about this wonderful charity or would like to donate please get in touch with us or go to https://transplantsport.org.uk/
Flood Re changes
Measures to facilitate more resilient repairs came into force on 1st April 2022 in the form of the Flood Reinsurance (Amendment) Regulations 2022.
The scheme allows Flood Re to pay claims up to £10,000 for resilient repairs, over and above the cost of like-for-like reinstatement of flood damage. This should enable homeowners to return home more quickly following a flood and reduce insurers’ claims costs now and in the future.
The detailed legislation can be found online if you CLICK HERE. If any insurers would like to talk to us about how we can work together to restore and reinstate in a more sustainable and flood resilient way please get in touch with Paul Hayman or James Bush.
MA Group Charity Golf Day and Dinner
The MA Group Charity Golf Day and Dinner will be held on 8th September this year. This is a great networking opportunity for our suppliers, staff and clients and is very popular. Over the years we have raised almost £50,000 for the Oxford Young Adult Clinic through this fun event and we will be raising more money this year.
If any clients or suppliers would like to attend please email Sally-Ann Johnson who is doing her usual marvellous job organising the event. If you aren’t a golfer you are more than welcome to join us for the drinks and dinner in the evening.
MA Group MAD Awards
We had so many MAD shout-outs in March we found it very difficult to choose just one winner last month. So in recognition of the amazing work the team has been doing since Christmas we have recognised six members of staff this month, all of whom will be getting gift vouchers:
Ryan Scott and Ryan Stevens, Account Executives based in Aylesbury, both had two nominations each for dealing with escalations and queries quickly and efficiently.
Charlie Key, Claims Technician in Aylesbury, also received two nominations for her efforts on Virtus storm claims, including helping surveyors book in their hundreds of appointments.
Ahmed Hussain, a fairly new Claims Technician in Aylesbury, had three nominations for being “always lovely and helpful”, patient and polite. Also he took the most calls in the control centre during March and had an abandonment rate of ZERO PERCENT!
Matt Vaughan-Roberts, a senior Claims Technician, was praised for his proactivity in assisting RESOLVER and moving a guarantee job along quickly.
And finally Gareth Goodchild, Project Co-ordinator for NHCC, has received multiple compliments and emails over the last couple of months, from both clients and customers, thanking him for his hard work and efficiency when dealing with jobs from start to finish.
What a team! Well done everyone!
