MA GROUP CHARITY GOLF DAY RAISES FUNDS FOR OXFORD YOUNG ADULT CLINIC
Despite challenging weather conditions, the MA Group Charity Golf Day proved to be another successful event, bringing together colleagues, clients, suppliers and partners in support of the Oxford Young Adult Clinic.
Held on Thursday, 11 June 2026, at The Oxfordshire Golf Hotel & Spa near Thame, participants took to the course in persistent rain, demonstrating great enthusiasm, resilience and team spirit throughout the day. While the conditions were far from ideal, they did little to detract from the camaraderie and enjoyment shared by all involved.
Following the golf, guests gathered for an evening drinks reception, dinner, charity auction and raffle. The event provided an excellent opportunity for networking, strengthening relationships and, most importantly, raising valuable funds for a cause that makes a meaningful difference to young adults and their families.
Events such as this are only possible through the generosity and support of so many people. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who participated, sponsored teams, donated prizes, contributed to the auction and raffle, and helped organise the day.
The continued support shown by our colleagues, clients and supply chain partners highlights the strength of the MA Group community and its commitment to making a positive impact beyond our day-to-day business activities.
We look forward to sharing the final fundraising total and the positive difference these contributions will make for the Oxford Young Adult Clinic.

CIOB MEMBERS FORUM, LONDON 2026

This month, construction professionals, trustees, hub representatives and industry leaders from across the globe gathered in London for the CIOB Members’ Forum 2026.
Held over five days, the bi-annual forum provides an important platform for members to celebrate achievements, shape future strategy, discuss emerging challenges and ensure local perspectives continue to influence the direction of the profession.
Representing MA Group was our CEO, Paul Hayman FCIOB, further strengthening the Group’s long-standing relationship with the CIOB and our shared commitment to raising standards across the built environment.
A key theme throughout the forum was the CIOB’s “golden trilogy” — APC, CPD and C&D. These pillars remain central to developing competent professionals, supporting continuous learning and maintaining the high standards of professionalism and ethics that underpin the industry.
Reflecting on the discussions, Paul highlighted the importance of increasing engagement at a grassroots level, strengthening local networks, supporting candidates through the APC process, delivering meaningful CPD opportunities and championing professional standards across the sector.
The forum also reinforced the importance of nurturing the next generation of industry leaders. Through initiatives such as Tomorrow’s Leaders, delegates explored ways to create stronger connections between experienced professionals and emerging talent, ensuring valuable knowledge and expertise continue to be shared across the profession.
As construction continues to evolve, events such as Members’ Forum play a vital role in bringing together diverse voices, encouraging collaboration and turning ideas into meaningful action that benefits both the industry and the communities it serves.
CSI MIAMI

When people hear “CSI Miami,” many still think of the iconic television series that entertained audiences for a decade. This June, however, the focus was on a very different CSI Miami — the Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Americas, held over three days at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The event brings together cruise operators, designers, architects, specifiers, suppliers and service providers from across the global cruise industry, creating a unique platform to showcase innovation, share expertise and build valuable industry relationships.
Representing MA Group at this year’s exhibition were CEO Paul Hayman FCIOB, Commercial Director Mark Henderson and Managing Director Kris Martin FCIOB. The team spent three productive days meeting existing clients, strengthening industry connections and introducing attendees to the specialist repair, restoration and asset protection services delivered by Magicman and the wider MA Group.
The cruise sector presents unique challenges, where maintaining high-end finishes, minimising downtime and extending asset life are critical. Discussions throughout the event highlighted the increasing focus on sustainable repair solutions that reduce waste, avoid unnecessary replacement and help operators maintain the premium standards expected by passengers.
For the team, CSI Miami provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how specialist surface repair and restoration can support the cruise industry, while also gaining valuable insight into emerging trends, innovations and future opportunities within the sector.
As MA Group continues to expand its presence across specialist markets, events such as CSI Miami play an important role in strengthening partnerships, sharing expertise and showcasing the value of repair over replacement on a global stage.
STRENGTHENING LEADERSHIP AND CREATING MA GROUP CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

This month marked an important step in the continued evolution of MA Group with the launch of MA Group Construction Services, bringing together NHCC, CRC and MMH under a single division focused on stronger collaboration, clearer accountability and sustainable growth.
The new structure has been designed to align complementary services, strengthen governance and create a scalable platform capable of supporting the Group’s future ambitions while delivering even greater value to clients and customers.
Supporting this development are several key leadership appointments. Kris Martin FCIOB has been promoted to Managing Director of CRC, NHCC and MMH. Since joining Magicman as General Manager earlier this year, Kris has made a significant impact through his leadership, commercial focus and commitment to
operational excellence. His promotion provides strong continuity and will help drive the next phase of growth across the division.
We are also delighted to welcome Tony Kinch (pictured above) as Commercial Director for MA Group Construction Services. Tony will lead the Sales and Account Management functions across Magicman, CRC and NHCC, bringing extensive commercial leadership experience and a proven track record of developing customer relationships, driving growth and building high-performing teams.
In addition, Mark Henderson has been appointed Chairman of MMH, while Melissa Bridges continues to lead MA Group Property Claims, supported by Kenny Prazer as Commercial Director.
These appointments reflect MA Group’s ongoing investment in leadership, capability and operational excellence. More than a structural change, they reinforce our commitment to creating a business built on strong people, clear direction and a shared vision for future success.

SUPPORTING BARNARDO’S AT THE ALLIANZ PROPERTY TREASURE HUNT

In June, members of the MA Group team enjoyed a fantastic evening at the Allianz UK Property Treasure Hunt in Bournemouth, helping to raise funds for the incredible work of Barnardo’s.
A huge thank you to Chloe Notton CMgr MCMI and the Allianz team for their warm hospitality and for delivering such a well-organised event. The evening combined teamwork, networking and fundraising, all in support of a charity that makes a real difference to the lives of children and young people across the UK.
Amanda Bredesen, George Knott, Poppy Henderson and Katie Thane were proud to represent MA Group and support such a worthwhile cause.
FORENSIC INSIGHTS IN ACTION

Members of the Revival team recently took part in an engaging and highly informative forensic experience day hosted by Jensen Hughes and THINK Forensic.
A huge thank you to Nicky Short and the wider team for delivering a fascinating hands-on programme that provided a unique insight into the world of forensic investigation.
The day challenged participants to assess real-world fire and escape-of-water scenarios, including investigating a lithium-ion battery fire, determining the likely cause, evaluating recovery potential, and considering the insurance implications of each case.
The afternoon shifted focus to crime scene investigation, offering a practical introduction to forensic techniques and evidence analysis. The interactive sessions provided a memorable and thought-provoking experience, bringing forensic science to life in a highly engaging way.
The event showcased the breadth of expertise and capabilities available across the forensic sector, highlighting the valuable role forensic investigation can play in supporting claims, recovery, and loss assessment across a wide range of scenarios.
At Revival, continuous learning and development are central to what we do, and opportunities like this help ensure our teams remain informed, curious, and equipped to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients and customers.
NATIONAL BISCUIT DAY – A REASON TO RECONNECT AND GIVE BACK

In June, teams across the Group came together to celebrate National Biscuit Day – a simple but enjoyable opportunity to pause, connect, and share a conversation over a well-earned biscuit.
While there was plenty of discussion around everyone’s favourite biscuit (the chocolate digestive remained a strong contender), the day was about more than just tea and treats. It also provided an opportunity to raise funds for The Trussell Trust, helping support individuals and families facing hardship in communities across the UK.
Whether catching up with colleagues, meeting with clients, or simply taking a moment out of a busy day, the event served as a reminder that strong relationships are built through the small interactions that bring people together.
A big thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and helped make the day a success. Together, we enjoyed a little fun, strengthened connections, and made a positive contribution to a worthwhile cause.
BDMA CONFERENCE

Revival was proud to be part of the British Damage Management Association Conference 2026, an outstanding event focused on the theme of “Collaboration in a Changing World.”
The conference brought together professionals from across the industry to share ideas, explore innovation, and discuss the evolving challenges and opportunities facing claims management and property restoration.
As sponsor of the Insurance Technician of the Year Award, we were delighted to support an event that recognised excellence, professionalism, and outstanding contributions across the sector.
The event also provided an opportunity to showcase how technology can enhance customer outcomes while keeping people at the heart of the process. Through solutions such as CLARA, MARV and TREVOR, we continue to support our teams, strengthen customer relationships, and improve operational performance without losing the human touch that remains central to our industry.
A particular highlight was seeing Revival represented among the award finalists across multiple categories, reflecting the talent, dedication and innovation that exists throughout our business.
We were also proud to see Paul Hayman and Melissa Bridges contribute to thought-provoking panel discussions on AI, innovation, and the role of women in insurance, claims and damage management, helping shape conversations that will influence the future direction of the industry.
Most importantly, the conference reinforced the value of collaboration, sustainability, and continuous improvement. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry peers, celebrate achievement, and share ideas that will help drive better outcomes for customers, communities, and the wider sector.
Congratulations to all the finalists, winners, organisers and attendees who helped make the event such a success.
