MA GROUP AWARDS 2025
What an energising and memorable afternoon at the MA Group Awards 2025! Colleagues from across the Group, supplier partners and clients gathered at Chartered Accountants’ Hall to recognise outstanding achievements, celebrate innovation, and applaud the exceptional performance that continues to drive our success.
A big thank you to Arron James, whose sharp, engaging hosting kept the afternoon running seamlessly, and to Dave Fishwick (Bank of Dave) for delivering a keynote that challenged us to think boldly and act with purpose.
Congratulations to all of our award winners, and sincere thanks to everyone involved in bringing the event to life.

THAMES VALLEY BUSINESS & COMMUNITY AWARDS – SHORTLIST ANNOUNCEMENT
The Thames Valley Business & Community Awards are independently judged, with all nominations reviewed by an external panel. This year, the Awards received more than 1,400 nominations, making a place on the shortlist a significant achievement.
We are proud to share that Paul Hayman, CEO of MA Group, has been shortlisted for Business Leader of the Year, and MA Group has been shortlisted for Business of the Year.
The Awards Ceremony will take place on Friday, 27 February.

REVIVAL NATIONAL BRANCH MEETING 2026
The Revival National Branch Meeting is approaching again on Thursday 23rd April 2026.
This year’s event will be held at two locations. During the day, we will be at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre, conveniently located just off Junction 16 of the M4 at Swindon. For our annual Revival Awards and Dinner in 2026, we will be across the road at the Double Tree Hilton Swindon.

Charlie Thompson
We’re delighted to welcome Charlie Thompson as our new Business Analyst (AI). Charlie brings strong analytical skills and a passion for using AI to improve decision‑making and streamline processes. He’s already adding value,
supporting the CRC and NHCC teams with enhancements to their debt‑collection processes — a vital area for any business.
Kris Martin
MA Group is pleased to welcome Kris Martin as General Manager of Magicman Holdings Ltd., our specialist Engineered Surface Repair business acquired in July 2025.
Kris will work closely with Mark Henderson, CEO of Magicman Holdings, and the senior leadership team to support the next phase of the business’s growth.
A Fellow of CIOB with 30 years’ industry experience — including a decade leading major luxury and high‑rise residential projects for top London developers — Kris brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a proven track record. Starting his career as a bench joiner, he has worked across multiple sectors, run his own fit‑out company, and delivered super‑prime residential schemes
.We’re excited to have Kris on board and look forward to the expertise and energy he brings to Magicman and the wider MA Group.
Mark Brown
MA Group is pleased to welcome Mark Brown as our new National Training and Development Manager.
Mark will lead the advancement of our Know Your Skills / Grow Your Skills initiative, developing accredited programmes, strengthening apprenticeship pathways and building strategic training partnerships across the Group.
A seasoned Learning & Development professional, Mark brings extensive experience across corporate and military environments, covering learning needs analysis, instructional design, leadership development and e‑learning.
He has a strong track record in creating end‑to‑end learning frameworks, delivering CMI‑accredited leadership programmes, managing technical training, mentoring apprentices and overseeing international learning operations with full ISO compliance.
Driven by continuous improvement, Mark uses data‑led evaluation and lean methodologies to enhance learning effectiveness and support career progression at every level.
We’re also pleased to welcome our new Claims Handlers, who will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service across our property claims:
