ANNUAL ACM TRAINING STRENGTHENS TEAM KNOWLEDGE

During July, we welcomed Joe Timmins from Safeline Environmental Limited – Licensed Asbestos Removal Contractors to our Aylesbury Central Office to deliver our annual Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) training to the Control Centre teams.

The session provided valuable insight, practical guidance and technical knowledge, helping our claims handling colleagues continue to deliver the highest standards of service and support to our customers.

Feedback from those who attended was overwhelmingly positive, with the training described as engaging, informative and thought-provoking. Sessions like these reinforce the importance of continuous professional development, giving our teams the confidence and expertise to manage claims safely, effectively and with the customer at the heart of every decision.

We are committed to investing in learning opportunities that enhance both technical capability and customer outcomes, ensuring our people have the knowledge they need when it matters most.

A huge thank you to Joe and the wider Safeline Environmental team for their continued partnership and willingness to share their expertise. Strong supplier relationships like this play an important role in developing our people and helping us deliver an outstanding service every day.

AI, THE MA GROUP & DOWNING STREET

AI has the potential to transform the way UK businesses operate, improving productivity, strengthening competitiveness and creating new opportunities for growth. The challenge now is ensuring SMEs have the support, confidence and practical pathways to adopt these technologies successfully.

It was therefore a privilege for our CEO, Paul Hayman – FCIOB, to represent MA Group at an AI Roundtable hosted at 10 Downing Street, chaired by James Carroll, Special Adviser to the Government, following an invitation from Laura Kyrke-Smith MP in partnership with Buckinghamshire Business First

The discussion brought together business leaders to explore how Government can help accelerate AI and digital adoption across the UK’s SME community, and how collaboration between industry and policymakers can unlock greater innovation and economic growth. At MA Group, we’re already embracing AI and digital technologies to enhance customer outcomes, improve operational efficiency and support smarter decision-making. It was encouraging to contribute to a conversation focused on ensuring businesses of all sizes can realise the benefits these technologies offer.

A sincere thank you to everyone involved in organising and contributing to such an engaging and forward-looking discussion. We’re excited to see how these conversations translate into meaningful action for UK businesses.

CARE ENGLAND FORUM 2026

During July, Tony Kinch represented Magicman at the Care England Forum 2026, held at Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth.

The event brought together senior leaders from across the care sector alongside trusted suppliers to share ideas, build stronger partnerships and discuss the future of care services.

Throughout the day, Tony met with care providers to discuss how Magicman’s specialist repair solutions help reduce disruption, extend the life of valuable assets and maintain safe, welcoming environments for residents, visitors and staff. The forum provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the benefits of repair over replacement, demonstrating how organisations can achieve significant cost savings while supporting their sustainability goals.

Events such as the Care England Forum are an important part of strengthening relationships within the sector, enabling us to better understand the challenges facing care providers and continue delivering solutions that protect both facilities and budgets.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with Tony—we look forward to building on the conversations and partnerships that began at the event.

KEVIN KEEGAN

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of football legend Kevin Keegan following his battle with cancer, aged 75. Kevin was our guest speaker at the inaugural MA Awards back in November 2021, and it was a true privilege to work with him. He brought warmth, insight, and genuine passion to the event, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all those who knew and admired him during this difficult time.

NATIONAL COUSINS DAY

National Cousins Day was celebrated on 24 July, providing the perfect opportunity to recognise one of MA Group’s unique family connections.

Our very own family trio—Amy Murray, Caitlyn Murray and Ryan Stevens—really are cousins and have amassed an incredible 28 years of combined service with MA Group.

Starting their careers as Claims Technicians, Amy and Caitlyn have progressed into management roles as Resolver Team Manager and Claims Manager respectively, while Ryan has built a successful career as a Senior Account Executive. Together, they have made a significant contribution across different areas of the business.

Their achievements speak for themselves, with accolades including Employee of the Year, Employee of the Year nominee and Dale Carnegie Highest Achiever, reflecting the talent, dedication and ambition that continue to help drive MA Group forward.

We are incredibly proud to have this award-winning, Aylesbury-based family trio as part of Team MA Group, and we thank them for their continued commitment and contribution. 👏
